In previous years, this concert was part of an all-day Jazzmobile Block Party celebrating the life of Louis “Pops” Armstrong. This year, the concert was recorded in the garden at the former home of Louis and Lucille Armstrong and includes a tour of Louis’ den.  Paying musical tribute to Pops’ legacy is NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Owens and his Quartet.
